The Triennial conference for the National Council of Women Australia (NCW), held 17 to 19 October 2018 at the QT Hotel in Canberra – The attendance was an excellent representation from the national and state NCW councils. The Patron of NCWA Her Excellency Lady Cosgrove and His Excellency Sir Peter Cosgrove attended the dinner evening where Lady Cosgrove presented the NCWA awards to inaugural winners. Significant focus was placed on all areas of violence, sexual assault, gender inequality, modern slavery, superannuation and homelessness.
